Governments around the world have gone overboard with their authoritarian controls related to the corona virus (SARS-CoV-2). This video shows how to identify a large category of false claims made by politicians. These claims take the form of assertions of fact about how people must act. The alleged explanations do not lead a rational conclusion that liberties must be destroyed.
The general approach here is to demand evidence and to look for the part of the evidence that can be measured accurately, objectively, and reliably. If evidence is not accurate, you can't be confident in the conclusion. If it is not objective, then it is just someone's personal preference, not a fact about the universe that dictates how I need to act. Ultimately, all the claims about why you need to stay indoors or close your business or keep 6 feet apart against your will is unwarranted assertions that have no evidentiary connection to the real, observable universe where we live.
This is a modified version of a prior video (the part with the music in the beginning was mostly cut).
