Paul, The Apostle, on Atheism and Homosexuality (Romans 1:18-32)

As followers of Jesus, we are not focussed on the going trends, or what we may "feel". We want the truth. If it causes us to feel butterflies in our stomach, so be it. If it HURTS, so be it. We want the whole truth, the uncensored truth.

Jesus called his followers to utterly abandon their own lives - to deny themselves.

As the Lord said, we must be born again. In order to be born again i.e. born of God, we must die to ourselves. We must die to every area of sin. As John the Apostle said in his letter, we must have nothing to do with sin, namely, the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh (gluttony, sexual immorality, idolatry, materialism), and the pride of life.

We are called to be holy. We are called to be saints.

Paul started his letter to the saints in Rome with a clear admonition against pride, sexual immorality, and atheistic ideology.
