I propose three major changes in how laws are made in the United States that would make a huge positive difference, starting at 2:04. One: a #ReadTheBillsAct that forces all politicians to be present at a full reading of every bill at every revision; anyone not present for the final reading can't vote on it. Two: an automatic sunset (repeal) of ALL laws after 10 years to get outdated or poorly written laws off the books, and all renewal attempts are subject to the Read The Bills Act. Three: ban all generalizing purpose clauses in new bills such as "...and for other purposes" which effectively act as a blanket allowance for any earmark (related to the real purpose or not) to force all content in all bills to adhere to a single purpose.
