Metroid Dread - Secret Item in Cataris, near station to Dairon

Guess what I've been playing since it leaked. I didn't want to get my hopes up, but Dread is turning out to be amazing. It's as challenging as I remember Super and Fusion being when I first played those. I haven't done a whole run yet though since RDR2 and Shadow Of War are getting lots of my time lately.

I was aware of the production issues and studio changes during development of Dread, and the games that MecuryStream made before now weren't good in my books (they did do Samus Returns, which is the only Metroid game I haven't played, since AM2R was a sure thing for being great instead), but Dread has had them pull out all the stops on making a ruthless fucking platformer with a badass protagonist and some satisfying secrets. The recurring minibosses behaving like robotic versions of the H.R.Giger's Aliens does the Post-Fusion turn towards horror some justice. And coming to a normal-ish modern control scheme has done it fucking wonders.
Leaving it to the Spaniards turned out to be a good idea.
