Uğur Şahin is CEO of BioNTech, the German company that in cooperation with Pfizer developed the RNA vaccine BNT162b2 "for preventing COVID-19 infections".

He "would, of course, uh, love to be vaccinated", but is in no hurry.

Şahin: Yes, we, well, I would, of course, uh, love to be vaccinated as well, uh, we just have to see that we follow the legalities, we’re going to have to produce over 1.3 billion doses of vaccine in the next twelve months, it’s important that there’s no employee absenteeism, and accordingly, we’re thinking about finding a way that legally also allows us to protect our employees, but that’s still under clarification at the moment.
