I appear to have been unlucky and had a side effect, awaiting for neurology opinion still.
I am not an anti-Vaxxer, I have had all my vaccines, and will continue to do so. Im a scientists, I do not believe in mombo jumbo.
The doctors keep telling me they have not heard of this side effect, Foot drop.
I have Lower back pain, numbness and loss of function in my right foot, I'm dragging my foot as I walk.
I have had A CT scan, MRI of my brain and a doppler as they initially thought I had a TIA (mini stroke), since been ruled out.
The stoke specialist advised I needed an urgent neurological assessment, thus far this has not happened. Now paying to go private this Tuesday as the NHS has a 10 month wait for outpatients.
No bloods, no yellow card by any of the clinicians I have interacted with, I did it myself.
It is my opinion the benefits still out weigh the risks, for the vaccine, hopefully my issue should resolve as long as its nothing more serious.
This disease COVID-19 is dreadful, I have known 3 people to have died from it, hence I had the vaccine.

Just thought id post an update on my foot drop which I have experienced since having my JAB.
NHS- are keeping me hanging with regards to seeing a neurologist, despite the stroke specialist saying I needed an urgent hospital admission and further investigation.
I went to see a private neurologist, who told me 'they would crucify him' if he linked it to the inoculation....
I am awaiting to have an MRI on my spinal cord and nerve conduction studies. Unfortunately I am unable to afford these privately (due to cost) so now I'm at the mercy on the wonderful NHS.

So I developed footdrop symptoms which have since I’m being told have got nothing to do with a vaccine that I’ve had despite the fact i was fit and healthy before having the vaccine. I’ve since been told I’ve got a problem with my S1 L5 discs which I’ve never had back problems before and I’m awaiting a spinal surgeon to give me an opinion on the NHS. You would’ve thought they would be pushing me through the system faster to find out what’s going on stop others from experiencing what I’ve had if it is in any way linked to the vaccine that I’ve had unfortunately the wonderful NHS is making me jump through hoops and thereby delay a link with the vaccine if there is a link.Tomorrow I’ll be seeing a advance physio who will then possibly refer me back to the spinal surgeon who I’ve been told I need to get an opinion from by my neuro consultant.....
