Our guest speaker today is Dr. Gerald Pollack, who is an international leader in science and engineering. He is recognized worldwide as a keynote speaker, who is the Founding Editor-in-chief of the scientific journal-WATER.
Dr. Pollack received the highest annual distinction from the University of Washington Faculty, besides he was named as Faculty Lecturer in 2008. He was the recipient of the coveted Prigogine Medal for thermodynamics in dissipative systems. He is the recipient of the: honorary doctorate from Ural’s State University, Honorary Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Foreign Member of the Srpska Academy, Founding Fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, and a Fellow of both the American Heart Association and the Biomedical Engineering Society. He was recently awarded as a National Institute of Health Director's Transformative R01 Award for his work on water, besides maintaining active research in Seattle.
