"An AMERICAN Trilogy" ~ {ELVIS PRESLEY, & Co.} ~ ("Aloha From HAWAI'I ~ Live in Honolulu" ~ 1973)
This is a beautiful, clear, crisp, awe-inspiring medley of "Dixieland," "Glory, Glory Hallelujah," and "Hush, Little Baby . . .," performed at the peak of ELVIS's vocal capabilities.
Pulled off LIVE. (No second chances.)
Nice on a Sunday morning, or any time one needs inspirado, and a break from the destruction of our country, our culture, our morals and ethics, . . . and to get some peace.
(This one always makes me mist up a little bit; or a lot.)
Turn it up. Way up.
Turn it up as loud as human possible . . .
"Elvis Presley made television and entertainment history with his Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii concert, performed at the Honolulu International Center Arena on January 14, 1973. It was beamed live via Globecam Satellite to various countries, on a delayed basis to approximately thirty European countries and it first aired in America that April 4th on NBC in edited form. The American broadcast version included four "insert" songs that were shot just after the concert. In all, the concert was seen in over forty countries by close to 1.5 billion people, a global ratings smash. Never before had one performer held the world's
attention in such a way.
Aloha from Hawaii presents Elvis Presley at the pinnacle of his superstardom, giving one of the most outstanding concert performances of his career." --- From the CrapTube channel of ELVIS PRESLEY

Lyrics:
Oh I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away, look away, look away Dixieland
For in Dixieland, I was born
Early Lord one frosty morning
Look away, look away, look away Dixieland
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
His truth is marching on
So hush little baby
Don't you cry
You know your daddy's bound to die
But all my trials Lord, will soon be over
Glory, glory, hallelujah
His truth is marching on
His truth is marching on
