Doppelganger is an interesting story from Alterna comics.

The story being told by writer Jordan Hart and artist Emmanuel Xerx Javier in Doppelgänger, a 4-issue limited series from indie publisher Alterna Comics. Hart and Javier have made great characters that you just have to root for especially Dennis Zimmann. He’s an ordinary man, maybe even less than ordinary. His family loves him. He’s got a cool best friend. So when a monstrous version of Dennis Zimmann suddenly appears out of nowhere in the wake of a car accident to take the place of our Dennis Zimmann, we are sympathetic. The story does a great job of making you care in only a few short pages!
