Sabaton - Nuclear attack (English Lyrics)

The first Nuclear weapons ever used in anger against Japan in the second world war. Codenamed Little boy, the first weapon was dropped on the industrial city of Hiroshima. The city had been targeted in order to measure the damage done by the bomb as it had proven very resistant to conventional bombing method. The bomb obliterated everything in a 3 mile radius, irradiating the land. The blast itself killed an estimated 80,000 civilians, with the fallout killing a further 80,000 in the days and weeks following the bomb. Once the potential for destruction was determined, another strike was plotted, this time against Tokyo. However, bad weather forced the bomber to chose a different target, the bomb Codenamed fat man was dropped against Nagasaki with a similar level of destruction and casualties.
