From the CD STOLEN SLEEP 2009. Recorded at Inner-X-Studio (7/18/08). Engineered by Bob Avakian. After about six years of silence John Zewizz manages to get his musical talents back upon us. STOLEN SLEEP is a collection of songs and instrumentals that run in a theme of stolen resting places. (tombs,crypts,gaves etc). One thing about SleepChamber is that Zewizz is creative enough to be constantly evolving. This title track is a rhythmic pulse beat piece that has great panning on the drums. Zewizz adds crickets chirping over Zora singing a haunting harmony that has the feeling of a deep anesthetic. The music glides into a Jazz cymbol up front Bass and ice pick style guitar that blends the rhythm right into Zewizz snarling that someone has disturbed his rest or sleep.
