It's quite an honor. Not only do we get to take off before everybody, but we get to carry the colors for the Star Spangled Banner. There was also an added bonus: We were the guinea pig for the winds, so we were the only balloon inflating, going hot and taking off at the time, so we had the attention of the entire Fiesta. Other balloons flew later, after we were far off the field. The landing was nice and uneventful. The best kind.

Sorry the video looks like it was taken by a potato, but it was from a livestream and there wasn't enough bandwidth available.. Next time, I won't livestream. I'll just take straight video and upload later.
