Till Dress Do Us Part: Woman Blows Up Wedding Gown to Celebrate Divorce

A Texas woman celebrated her divorce being finalized by blowing up her wedding dress on November 10. Kimberly Santleben-Stietler, from La Coste in Medina County, had been married for 14 years, and decided to see the marriage out with a bang – literally – with her family and friends. According to a local report, Santleben-Stietler’s dress was filled with 20 pounds of the explosive target material Tannerite, which she then shot at to cause the explosion. Footage shared by the divorcee’s sister, Carla Santleben-Newport, shows the moment the dress goes up in flames, and had racked up over 36,000 views at the time of writing.
