Continuation of lesson 9.3 in which we discuss the angle of rotation in a coordinate plane, the center of rotation as a fixed point, how we use the inverse of the y value to do a 90 degree rotation about the origin going counter-clockwise, how we use the inverse of x and y values to do a 180 degree rotation about the origin counterclockwise, how to make a rotation ruler for different angle measures and use it to draw a rotation. When all vertices of a figure are rotated around the center of rotation by the same angle, points that are farther from the center of rotation move a greater distance than the points that are closer to the center of rotation. An example of using cosine and sine ratios (using a Ferris wheel) to find the coordinates of an image, when the angle of rotation in a coordinate plane is not a multiple of 90 degrees.
