I've lived in Scotland for most of my life, so here are a few things I've come to realize, both about myself and the country I live in. I have changed my perception of what it means to be 'Scottish' over the years and this has, in turn, affected my own sense of identity. This has come about through my study of Scottish history and politics, as well as deep inner exploration and reflection upon my surroundings.
