Multiplication is like addition because we can use multiplication or addition to combine equal groups. An explanation of the words "multiply", "factor", and "product". We use counters as models and repeated addition to solve a word problem involving equal groups. We write related multiplication and addition sentences for a model. I have a short message at the end of the video for parents about numbers 6, 7, and 8 in the "On Your Own" section of the textbook, to help avoid confusion.
