ID2020, also known as the Digital Identity Alliance is a mostly Bill Gates sponsored push for a digital identification for all people in the world, which will "will stay with you for life", and allegedly "no individual or institution can duplicate, modify, or delete". It is an alliance of public-private partners, including UN agencies, UNICEF and civil society. It’s an electronic ID program that uses generalized vaccination as a platform for digital identity.
It's essential new features are that it is unremovable (i.e. a passport can be thrown away by its 'owner') and that it is connected to a worldwide central computer system and database.
