In April 1999, a mysterious, previously unheard of columnist appeared on the pages of The Observer. Richard Geefe wrote almost psychotic tales chronicling his borderline misanthropic social misdeeds, and openly honest accounts of his poor, some might say abusive, behaviour to his friends, and girlfriends. Then after six weeks, following a worrying article describing his battles with insomnia, and a prolonged bout of amnesia, he vanished for a bit. Only to return a fortnight later with a shocking revelation. This is the third of the six columns he wrote before he disappeared.

In this short extract from my upcoming (I'm still editing it as I'm typing this) video, Richard Geefe, a mysterious unknown Observer Columnist, locks himself out of his new flat.
