"You only see the tip of the iceberg with their bullshit. You don't know what they're capable of."
This is a good upload. I can appreciate now why so many like Ollie's content. There's some very good insights in this for those interested.
"Ruining your life almost makes them feel better. Instead of wanting their child to have it better, they want to make sure they have it worse."
I'm at 58 minutes now and Ollie's words are really valuable to hear. 100% on point. When we come together and talk about our isolated experiences, we can rip the masks off all narc predators and dismantle the conniving schemes they feel so clever employing against us.
No More writes, "They are happy being sadistic. I swear I could see joy in her eyes when mine were full of tears."
In one of my situations, I found it puzzling when I would reveal a point of vulnerability to appeal to empathy when the response would instead be to take a spear and stab at that point. This was puzzling to me because I had nothing but good intentions and therefore couldn't understand such contrary behavior. Before I knew anything about narc conditions, I realized there was something wrong with that person and went no contact. Having high standards for how others treat is so important. We also need strong boundaries.
