Does COVID-19 Kill Free Speech??, 3038
Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the coup.
Three days ago, Attorney General Bill Barr wrote what is turning out to be a really historic guidance to all of his United States Attorneys across the nation entitled, “Balancing Public Safety with the Preservation of Civil Rights.”
Attorney General Barr warns:
“… each of our U.S. Attorneys to be on the lookout for state and local directives that could be violating the constitutional rights and civil liberties of individual citizens.”
Then the heart of the 2-page document comes in paragraph 3:
“… the First Amendment and federal statutory law prohibit discrimination against religious institutions and religious believers.”
But then warns that:
“The legal restrictions on state and local authority are not limited to discrimination against religious institutions and religious believers.”
“For example, the Constitution also forbids, in certain circumstances, discrimination against disfavored speech ….”
And in the final paragraph on page 2, Barr reminds his U.S. attorneys that:
“… the Constitution is not suspended in times of crisis.”
Barr’s warning, though broad, strikes at the heart of what may be the most dangerous aspect of the over-reach exerted by non-governmental actors, namely the big three social media giants.
YouTube, Facebook and Twitter all took advantage of the opportunity to join in the suppression of our 1st amendment rights by discriminating against those who discussed the existence of an excellent treatment for the virus that has for decades proven to be safe and effective, as well as cheap and readily available -hydroxychloroquine.
Suppressing this news alone has cost thousands of American lives. My wife had her Twitter channel of nearly 100,000 followers – erased without warning. One day it was there, the next day it was gone. Why? Well, she was never told, but it was right at the time she was putting up my stories supporting hydroxychloroquine, as an effective treatment against the COVID-19 virus.
As a result, this anti-HCQ bias is now strongly affixed in the public consciousness and reaffirmed every time some lamestream expert utters the half-truth: “there is no approved treatment for COVID-19.”
Laura Ingraham is equally outraged by this banishment of what may eventually be found to be the most effective treatment against the COVID-19 virus, hydroxychloroquine.
By the way, the supplies of hydroxychloroquine have now run out from the British online pharmacy, insulinhub.com. However they are working on obtaining a fresh batch from India, the world’s largest manufacturer of this legacy treatment for malaria.
I’m still reporting from just outside the citadel of American freedom. Good day.
