Over the past couple of weeks, my family has been helping my youngest brother and his girlfriend find a new home that's cheaper than the one they live in now. Not too long ago, they managed to find a house and they terminated the lease on their current house and are expected to move out by July 1st. Then came yesterday where my brother started having second thoughts about the condition of the house. He wants a house that is cheaper and not too much of a fixer-upper, meaning wasting more money and entire weekends trying to get the place in tip top shape. They still have to move out of their current home by July so my family made an agreement that they could move back in with all of us. Here's the problem, our current home only has three bedrooms, one for my parents, one for me, and one for my younger brother. Here's the heartbreaker, my gaming center where my computer is and all my gaming consoles are has to be emptied to make room for a fourth bedroom so goodbye game dungeon. We spent the entirety of yesterday unhooking everything and moving it all upstairs along with all the desks, tables, chairs, etc. My parents came back with some wood, a door, and some drywall so we can turn the basement center into a room separated from the laundry room and dad's workshop. A thunderstorm came which means we had to rush getting everything out of dad's pickup and into the house before the rain completely ruined everything. In the end, construction of the new wall was completed, the computer was re-setup in my room, and all the consoles are stored in my brother's room with only the Switch and the PS4 hooked up because there is no way we're going to be able to hook up everything. We'll be spending following weekends trying to help my youngest brother and his girlfriend move all their stuff. On the bright side, with a fourth bedroom added to the house, our property value should increase.
