King, 22, claims that his obscure humming sound attracts them to him before he then swats them with a deft clap of his wrists.

The makeup artist - who nicknamed him the 'Mosquito Whisperer' was filmed by a friend showing off his weird hobby at his home in Laguna, the Philippines, on November 17.

King said: ''I make a sound like a mosquito and they fly towards my mouth. Then I crush them in front of my face. I can kill dozens like this all day.

''This is the best way I have found of getting rid of mosquitoes.''
