Rehnborg Chair in Disease Prevention, Professor of Medicine, of Health and Research Policy, of Biomedical Data Science, and of Statistics, and is the Co-Director of the Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford. He cautions we do not have reliable data to make long-term decisions about COVID-19 and an extended lockdown might have far graver effects than the disease itself.
