Listening back, I thought I had better add a note. I'm not saying that there are no benefits of progress. Nor am I saying that everything sucks in the present day, period. What I am saying, is that we must hold on to the best aspects of the past and pass them on to future generations. That not every leap forward is necessarily a good thing. Indeed, some leaps lead to falling off a cliff.

PS I'm also aware that there are more important things to pass on than old Disney films. Feel free to give me some better examples in the comments below...
