A viewer gave us some great cultural and historical details to think about. Silat is a blanket term to describe many martial art styles from Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia. Apparently, that leg technique TSA-like video was actually a Silat positioning and reference point exercise. In this video, I read the viewer comments (thank you viewer!) and also explain to you guys why even if the exercise is legit, the technique was still presented in a very funny manner.
