Dr Vanden Bossche: Highly vaccinated countries will have high rates of illness

Dr Geert Vanden Bossche reports that mass vaccination does not lead to herd immunity, which is the kind of immunity needed to end a pandemic. In general, mass vaccinations do exactly the opposite; the unvaccinated have created overall protection, even against all kinds of variants, thanks to their innate and well-trained immune system. In countries with higher vaccination rates, there will be higher levels of serious illness, says Vanden Bossche.
