Richard Roeper and Guest Critic, Covindini Murty reviews Oy Vey! "Alpha Dog" (This is a dog alright! It even had an inspiration to a deceased young murderer, posting a deadly threat on YouTube. Another average Crime melodrama with wasted talents of Emile Hirsch and Bruce Willis. Justin Timberlake can go to hell! His performance is horrible, overacting as a stereotypical thug! His dumb song, "Sexyback" wounds up in the charts in 2006 and became an awakening to his sadistic narcissistic behavior as evidence in the controversial incident at the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show with Janet Jackson! He gets away scot-free and does more movies and music like it never happen. And he's buttkissing his neurotic fan base and critics especially film critics like Ebert and yes, even Roeper who gave this trash a thumbs up! I rather eat dog poop than watch this again! BTW, there's already a better movie called "Menace II Society". Good thing, Murty gave it a thumbs down!), "Arthur and the Invisibles" (I like this movie from producer and director, Luc Besson with Freddie Highmore, Mia Farrow, Madonna and David Bowie. And I agree with Murty more than Roeper lame vote!), "Seraphim Falls" (A Compelling Western Action Drama with Liam Neeson, Pierce Brosnan and Anjelica Huston in a small role.), "Catch and Release" and "Alone with Her".
Thumbs Up Video: "The Guardian", "Sherrybaby" (Great film!) and "Jesus Camp". Roeper's pick are "The Illusionist" (Amazing choice! A Magical film with Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel (Soon to be Timberlake's wife! Go figure!) and "No Limit". Murty's pick are "Yojimbo & Sanjuro: Two Films by Akira Kurosawa" (Excellent Choice!)
