TWO HOURS of blues that gets rid of your blues.
THAT's the BLUES.
A universal feeling/experience.
Man or woman.
ROCK came from somewhere . . .
It started around the time of Ragtime: the turn of the last century . . .
Vaudeville was in full swing by then.
It progressed into the Jazz Age, which started about 1917; the end of WW I.
Then Jazz morphed into the Big Band Era: Swing Music.
The Big Bands took over, and everyone kept dancing and bopping.
The teenagers thought they were in control of new music, but it was really the adults.
As usual.
Then Glen Miller took the "Big Band" into a new fresh direction.
(ca. the late '30s; 1940.)
THEN CAME WW II. . . .
[Work in progress.
Men at work.]
