Imagine you are born a millionaire then someone comes along at an early age, hides all your wealth from you and then gives you £10,000. You naturally feel grateful and in awe of what they have done to help you. Yet its a lie because you are already so much more wealthy than you were ever told. To me, this has been our relationship with the mainstream medical industry.

The bodies we are given at birth are far more incredible and sophisticated than anything medical science can offer. We just don't know it because from a young age we are brainwashed to hand over the innate power we have to heal and look after ourselves. Only within the limitations of a fake, sick society does medical science make any sense. Step outside of that and the idea of handing out endless pills and cutting people open to "heal them" looks barbaric and all about money. It is an industry afterall.

I wrote this song in 2007 after the death of my mum. It is partly about the medical system and partly about the Orwellian society being imposed on us. It was only ever recorded acoustically on a cassette player. The last 2 years brought the song back to my mind and I felt an urgency to release it to counter all the nonsense we are being bombarded with. I was originally going to release the acoustic demo from 2007 as it is but it was recorded in two parts and not as a whole performance so in 2021 I simply recorded a similar basic acoustic performance which is what you hear.
