What is Human Chorionic Gonadotropin?
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (let's just call it HCG for short) is a hormone that is produced during pregnancy by women to facilitate a normal and healthy pregnancy. HCG is not used by men, but it has some interesting similarities with a hormone that men use and need: Luteinizing Hormone.
Uses of HCG Injections
Today, Bio-Identical HCG can be made in a laboratory environment, and is used for a variety of medical purposes, for men and women of all ages. Here are a few of the uses of HCG:
Bio-Identical Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is used for pediatric patients as a means to stimulate puberty in boys that do not have their testicles drop in a physiologically normal time frame.
Injectable HCG is often prescribed to women that are having trouble conceiving a child. HCG activates the body so that the egg more readily implants in the womb.
HCG Injections are used as a clinically proven weight loss therapy in combination with a strict diet to encourage weight loss without feeling hungry or tired.
Testosterone Hormone Treatment is often combined with HCG Injections to maintain the production of Testosterone by the testes and the creation of Luteinizing Hormone by the Pituitary Gland, preserving sperm production and fertility in male patients that are taking Testosterone for Low-T and Andropause.
