JOSEPH SMITH MANIFEST DESTINY: BUILDING UNDERGROUND RAILROAD TO FREE THE SLAVES

History is very surprising. But if you wait to the end, you will see the extremely heroic role Joseph Smith;s Mormon Movement played in the antislavery movement. It is a legacy that has been lost and buried and should be corrected. However much evidence does history need. The Mormons were chased out of Independence for allegedly "inviting free black people to joint them: and the local settlers were outrage, claiming the settlement of black or interracial free people would threaten their women and daughters. Being robbed of their homes and possessions, Mormon, considered interracial by most contemporaries hence their name conjuring up Black Moors of Africa, were sent fleeing to safety in Ohio, where again they were chased out due to their antislavery activities. Joseph Smith Sr. and Lucy Mack legacy in the fight for freedom in the U.S. should be restored and the real history of Mormons be published. It is only a matter of time the sealed records of our past, hidden and buried, by the likes of Brigham Young will be revealed. There is only so much time before the breaking of the light.
