Clock Tower - The First Fear (1997, Playstation)

Clock Tower - The First Fear is a point-and-click adventure game developed and published by Human Entertainment. It is a port of the game Clock Tower for the SNES, and it was only released in Japan (there was a game called Clock Tower released in North America and Europe, but this was the renamed Clock Tower 2). Clock Tower was also released for PC and Wonderswan.

The story is is about a teenage girl called Jennifer Simpson who lives at an orphanage in Romsdalen, Norway. She and three other girls from the orphanage get adopted by a wealthy man called Simon Burrows, who lives in a secluded mansion called the "Clock Tower" deep in the forests. A woman called Mary brings the girls to the mansion. After they have arrived, Mary leaves to find Mr. Barrows. Since Mary does not return after a while, Jennifer leaves to search for her. Shortly after leaving the others, the lights suddenly go out and Jennifer hears the others scream. She heads back, but the other girls have disappeared. To make matters worse, a little man with deformed features appears. He is wielding and a giant pair of scissors and goes after Jennifer to kill her.
