Mae Brussel smashup - Death of Conscience, Murder of the Rock Musicians - a Media Echo

Murder of the Rock Musicians, the Death of Conscience is an audio video montage and poetic mashup of Mae Brussel talking about assassination politics and it's creative impulse in the 60's, after LBJ became president and started killing off the stars that disagreed with the Vietnam war.

Mae Brussel said: "Rock musicians had an ability to draw together youth at a time when protest meetings were being broken apart, and the hippie, antiwar youth became too visible with their own, unique art form at Woodstock."

Sadly we can see similar trends in our world now, especially in new media. Web personalities have appeal across for more demographics than rock music in the "post war" world of the sixties.
