I decided to check out a spot in the Hoosier National Forest that looked like a great potential Truck Camping/Overlanding campsite. I have to say when I came up to the spot I was not disappointed. In the Hoosier National Forest, it is legal to camp in pull-off areas, just like in any other National Forest. This particular place was approximately 150 yards off the road on top of a ridge. Make sure you let him know I sent you. The main purpose of this trip was to test out a couple of pieces of new gear. The first one was my Helinox Chair Two, and the second one was my GSI 6 cup percolator. Both performed flawlessly. I also got a great test of my new GoPro Hero 8 Black and even got a little time in with my DJI Spark. I will definitely be back to this spot in the future. It was a little tight to squeeze my Toyota Tundra into but once I put it in 4 wheel drive, all was well.
