I'm going to rehab: no, no, no !

This is a vlog about my rehabilitation following failed back surgery. This was a dark time for me, as I had not planned for 18 months plus of decreased mobility, lack of support, loss of financial earning and the depressive thoughts of suicide. I used my health knowledge to slowly bring myself back from the brink of inability to a point where I could function again despite the missing elements of authority provided support and care. In all, 7 sessions of physio deemed me "able" to continue alone, 6 weeks of home care to aid me washing and dressing, were all I got. I make the 6 weeks of care sound positively enjoyable, but to experience the non-arrival of people meant to get you out of bed and fed, despite constant complaints, to be left wondering what time the care would arrive, it was as useful as a chocolate fireguard.
