Wild Edibles & Pretty Flowers Thriving on Vacant Farm Land

Abandoned farm begins to heal itself over 5 years fallow. Many pioneering species of plants have came in. Some of the plants i came across Bidens Elba, Lantana, Noni, Lucana, Moonflower, Saw Palmetto. Moonflowers are the perfect complement to this gorgeous time of day. As you might guess from the name, they are night bloomers. Their large white flowers open at dusk, releasing a sweet smell for your sunset views in the garden. It's a great choice for late night-strollers or night owls who might be taking in the garden under the moon.
They like heat and sun and don't mind dry soils where other plants may not grow. This makes moonflowers fairly easy to add to your garden, as they need little maintenance. They are climbers, though, so be sure to plant them where they have room to rise to the moon.
