A Symbol of Christmas

Today let us put aside the ego’s materialization of Christmas and use it as a symbol to be grateful for the gift that each and every moment is. Let us notice how every moment is presenting us with the opportunity to reach greater self-awareness. If every moment is seen in this manner, would every morning not become Christmas morning? I remember as a kid waking up Christmas morning with complete exhilaration. Imagine lives were every morning we woke up with this same joy, how would our attitudes and moods begin to shift? Remember how grateful you were to Santa Claus or your parents? Imagine having and expressing that same sense of gratitude to your Creator for gifting you the moments you will be experiencing today. Imagine living your life in this constant state of gratitude. Today let us remember to be grateful for each moment that we are gifted.
