This classic mixer tap design from Nestling has all you need plus a bit more and is realistically priced at just £21.99. This review is just for the build quality and appearance of the item. I have not yet installed it and it may be some time before I get around to it, so the review is on that basis alone.

In the box is just the tap itself with the base fixture already in place along with two braided flexible hoses. You should just be able to swap it over to replace the old unit.

Build quality seems fine and the tap has a good weight to it in the had at 612g. This tap feels designed for long term use with little on it likely to break or fail any time soon. The tap has a uniform chrome finish with coloured inserts to delineate the hot and cold mixer levers. The two levers operate smoothly and feel like they might be damped to achieve this. Onew feature of note is the inclusion of an aerator insert to break up the water flow and the use of It has a Ceramic disc valve which replaces the old fashioned rubber valves and should mean it works drip-free and is simple to renew.

If you need a traditional kitchen mixer tap at a budget price then you would be lucky to find a better one than this.
