Too often imported clothes are cheaply made, too small and wear out after just a few weeks or use. Not so here, well, at least as regards being cheaply made and short lasting. This set of Thinsulate Thermal Insulated fold over mittens from METOG are well made, robust and hard wearing although they are smaller than their label might indicate.

I am a 5'11" male and pride myself on having normal sized hands and the Large sized pair I got are in no way too big. They are not too small, in fact, they are a perfect fit, but had my hands been any larger than they would not have been. I would suggest that anyone with normal to large sized hands buy the biggest size.

What you get for your money is a pair of very warm insulated fingerless gloves with a velcro secured fold over finger protector and a leather palm grip. The mittens are made of a 50/50 mix of wool and Polyester with a fleece lined interior.

The gloves arrived simply packaged in a clear bag and with Thinsulate and Product labels attached. They are packaged well enough to make them an attractive Christmas or winter gift.

They are certainly very warm and comfortable to wear with the fleecy lining giving them a quality feel not found in simply knitted rivals. The current Amazon price of £15.99 is not the cheapest I have seen but for a quality item such as this, it is worth paying a bit more for.
