Triumph of the Will [1935 documentary by Leni Riefenstahl | Nuremberg rallies]

'Triumph of the Will' is essentially the follow-up—or rather, replacement—to 'Victory of Faith'. Another masterpiece from the incredibly talented NatSoc-era director Leni Riefenstahl. 'Victory of Faith' managed to pop up years ago after Hitler had ordered every last remnant of the film destroyed to eliminate any history of the homosexual Ernst Rohm. Perhaps this incredible film was only created because Hitler wanted another masterpiece depicting German rallies to replace the footage that he believed was destroyed in it's preceding film.

Like 'Victory', 'Triumph' is a heroic propaganda film chronicling the rallies in 1935. It features infamous figures such as Hitler, Rudolf Hess, and Dur Sturmer writer Julius Streicher. The rally hosted approximately 700,000 participants, including the alleged ghost of Ernst Rohm, still maintaining unwavering loyalty to the Fuhrer even in death.

It was not until only very recently that this tremendous footage was polished up and colourized to create an even more breathtaking experience.
