Man Charged Federally, Somehow Responsible for 153 People Who Went to Grand Canyon at the Same Time

A man is being charged Federally with a list of “crimes” because he organized a trip to the Grand Canyon to hike from one rim to the other. This is when he stepped down as the organizer and told those who were going that the Government had shut it down because of their group’s size. One of the things he did that was supposedly “criminal” was he told the others if they wanted to go they should organize into smaller groups which do not violate the rules and that was him somehow trying to skirt them. His charges are being brought because the 153 people who showed up were somehow his responsibility even though each of them has their own personal agency.
