Ukrainian War Theater at the Bucharest Train Station. No refugees to be found.

I live in Romania, right next to Ukraine. For the last few weeks the media has been telling the world that millions of Ukrainians have been fleeing for Romania due to the ongoing 'war'. I don't know anyone who has seen a refugee, I don't know anyone who knows anyone. This morning at the Bucharest train station I saw that the stage has been set for the political theater. Tents and isolation areas just like with covid, emergency personnel and just like with covid the tents are empty and emergency personnel and vehicles are sitting idle.

The TV crews are there to film the scene and then some 'journalist' will write a script and fabricate a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions for which we must obey restrictions on our daily lives. That's how political theater is done.

The stories in the media bear no resemblance to the reality around us. Are you going to believe what the media tells you or what you see with your own eyes? Like with covid, you can't convince someone it's all a show if they have already chosen to believe. Even if they see the show with their own eyes, their mind will reject it.
