Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has called for a vote on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's so-called "Green New Deal." The move to force Democrats and Republicans to go on record as supporting the insane, radical Socialist agenda has drawn criticism from many top Democrats, including the Green New Deal's co-sponsor Senator Ed Markey. Democrats keep telling us that climate change is such an urgent threat that something must be done about it today. Why wouldn't they welcome a vote on the Green New Deal?
