What was I thinking when I misread the title of the video? Well, there are states in the U S A with bans to travel to other states. It is interesting that this is the case in the land of the free, of we consider that Japan did not go into a lockdown because freedom of circulation is a fundamental right protected by the Japanese constitution. Which by the way, was given to the country after being drafted under the supervision of General Douglas MacArthur. Which is ironic because MacArthur’s political views included the notion that pacifism and communism are bedfellows. And double ironic because the main exponent of the idea that the state has the right to ban people from moving freely around their country comes from very blu-blu California.
