Dr. Pierre Kory testifies to Senate Committee about Ivermectin, Dec. 8, 2020
Appearing as a witness Tuesday morning before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs—which held a hearing on “Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of a COVID-19 Solution”— Dr. Pierre Kory, President of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), called for the government to swiftly review the already expansive and still rapidly emerging medical evidence on Ivermectin.
The data shows the ability of the drug Ivermectin to prevent COVID-19, to keep those with early symptoms from progressing to the hyper-inflammatory phase of the disease, and even to help critically ill patients recover.
Dr. Kory testified that Ivermectin is effectively a “miracle drug” against COVID-19 and called upon the government’s medical authorities—the NIH, CDC, and FDA—to urgently review the latest data and then issue guidelines for physicians, nurse-practitioners, and physician assistants to prescribe Ivermectin for COVID-19.

"....Instead of expensive pharmaceutical engineered drugs we have one hundred years of medicine development, and together with our collective well recognized expertise and the immense studies of some 9 months now, there is a solution to this (covid) crisis.
There is a drug that is proving to have a "miraculous" impact without sensationalising this word, ot using this term lightly. And we are recommending it based on MOUNTAINS of evidence, data from all around the world that has emerged in the last 3 monrhs, showing it's miraculous effect, and that is the drug Ivermectin.
It basically obliterates transmission of this virus
If you take it you will not get sick, you will be protected Our over 1500 patient study also shows this. It is immensely effective.
If you take Ivermectin the need for hospitalisation and death will decrease
In fact, it's greatest benefit according to our most profound evidence, is for those already hospitalised, who will not die or the death rate will be very significant less if they take Ivermectin than if they don't.
It is proving to be a wonder drug.
It has already won the Nobel prize in Medicine, in 2015, for its impact on global health, the eradication of parasitic diseases. It is proving to be an immensely powerful viral and anti inflammatory agent.
It is CRITICAL in its use for this disease, ie covid 19.
Out scientific manuscript about it has been submitted for peer review, which takes time, ie monrhs, of which we do not have.
As a front line in-house, lung and i.c.u specialist, we have 100, 000 patients in hospitsl right now dying because they cannot breath, who are attached to ventilators, mechanical devices, that breathe for them; they are paralysed in addition. And I watch them every day, and they die; once they are in I.c.u it's almost impossible for them to recover.
Early treatment is key.....We need to offload the hospitals. We are tired. I cannot keep doing this, helplessly watching them die. I cannot go on...Any further deaths when I go back to work next week are going to be needless deaths. And I CANNOT BE FURTHER TRAUMATISED by that. I cannot keep caring for patients when we know that they could have been saved with earlier treatment with a drug that will treat them and prevent the hospitalisations. And that drug is Ivermectin.
I am calling for action from the N.I.H.
All I ask is that they just review the data that we have compiled, our manuscript, of almost 30 studies, all of which are reliable and positive, showing the dramatic impacts of Ivermectin. It's a serious manuscript by serious highly experienced physicians and researchers, a credible collective of medical science professionals, not a random doctor who says he has a "cure."
The N.I.H just needs to review out immense amounts of data to show that Ivermectin must be implemented and now.
Finely, the people who are dying the most, at the highest rates than anyone else, from Covid, are some of the most disadvantaged and impoverished, ie Afro-Americans, Latinos, and the elderly. This is the most severe discrepancy that I have seen in my medical career.
And we are responsible to protect those disadvantaged members of our society. We have have a special duty to provide counter measures. Ivermectin must be instituted and implemented.
I am asking the N.I.H to review our data and come up with recommendations for society."
