Anything romanticized and spoon-fed to us cheaply everywhere is crap frankly. We need to stop falling for hype from experts (has-been drips). PhD means piled higher and deeper. Doctors (Rot(DNA)codes) have all of a few hours nutrition classes in college (calcification of the mind buildings). This guy at least has real studies as backing and has a little ayurvedic homeopathy naturopathy going for him.
Some common trigger word catch phrase examples:
-"FORTIFIED with Iron! (breakfast cereals)"
-"Vitamin D added!" (to milk)"
-"Everyone is dehydrated!"
-"you are anemic!"
- You suffer from calcium deficiency!"
So in general, if it's popular, it's crap, coffee, chocolate, soft drinks come to mind. Likewise, things never mentioned anywhere are sometimes the best advice. You won't hear did you take your daily turpentine today? for instance. After all, it's poison dude! Many pica non-foods are healthy like mica (glass), sand, and ash. Ash is often LOADED with nutrients. It's the cheapest source of some of the best nutrients.
"Why spoil the body with all these supplements."
My daughter reminds me of this once a year as well as I do myself. And she's right, it's true and somewhat robust righteous advice, however a lot of these supplements don't just supplement. They chelate out the bad stuff. So do both, don't overdo it by fasting and practicing supplement infrequency, and sequential eating.
