SELF-PITY IS A TRAP!

SELF-PITY will keep you STUCK in an unhappy place. It's a form of SELF-SABOTAGE, PROCRASTINATION and ESCAPISM. It's a delay tactic to avoid solving your problems. It will make overcoming adversity difficult, if not impossible. It will prevent you from moving on in your life. It may also be a form of manipulation (consious or unconscious) to attract attention and empathy. It's very UNHELPFUL. It's like a parasite attaching itself to your negative thoughts.

Luckily, there are REMEDIES to cure you from self-pity:
1. Practicing GRATITUDE
2. Recognising it
3. Redirecting your energy to help other people.

Take care and avoid the trap of feeling sorry for yourself. Use the antidote👆😉
