Burr Oaks Cemetery was founded in 1927 because the black residents of Chicago, Illinois wanted a segregated burial space that was for black Americans only. It is a large graveyard with a lengthy history within the so-called 'African American' community. Interred there are a number of historic black figures such as the black boxer Ed Charles, musician James Arnold, jazz musician and trumpet player George ' Sonny' Cohn, Dianna Washington, Christopher Tyrese Davis, singer Billy Williams and countless others, including blacks who lived through slavery. The most notable grave at Burr Oaks is that of Emmitt Till.
You'd think the blacks in charge of the cemetery during the scandal of 2009 were Jewish, given the horrid money making scheme they concocted and inevitably went through with at the time. Hundreds and hundreds of bodies were secretly exhumed in order to make way for new burial plots to be sold. In some cases, the bastards just buried one corpse on top of another. This went on for years as the pile of discarded dirt, headstones, bones and human remains left unseen in the back of the cemetery grew larger and larger.
The culprits running Burr Oaks Cemetery were eventually found out, taken to trial and dished out lengthy jail sentences.
Taken from a TV show called "Scammed', this 17-minute episode tells the grisly story.
Perhaps the most hilarious part of this painfully low budget mini-doc is the horrendous acting by the unskilled black 'actors' hired to do the reenactments.
