Is Durham Doing A Limited Hangout?
Good evening, I’m still reporting on the coup.
Is John Durham really going after the top levels of the anti-Trump coup, or is he either helping the FBI create a limited hangout, or perhaps being warned by the Justice Department not to go after the real puppet masters behind the coup? That was the implication of former Congressman Devin Nunes’ appearance on Maria Bartiromo’s show on Sunday.
First of all, what is a limited hangout? I remembered the term from the Nixon administration days when Nixon attempted to create justification for him to serve a third term as president. Once the Watergate burglars were caught and the operation started to go public, top Nixon aides used a series of limited hangouts in an attempt to soften the blowback of total exposure.
Producing a limited hangout is a propaganda tactic originating in the intelligence trade which is employed when the cover story for a clandestine operation begins to crumble, a limited hangout is created where some information is admitted to publicly and perhaps even charges are brought by legal authorities, with the idea that they charge the small fish in an illegal operation, in an effort to protect the more damaging parts – or the bigger fish - from exposure.
Many have wondered why Special prosecutor John Durham hasn’t brought conspiracy charges – or even treason charges – against Hunter Biden, for example, and there has been not even a hint of formal charges against Hillary Clinton.
Mr. Durham may be doing what good prosecutors do – that is slowly working their way up the food chain, gradually building upon more and more evidence. But as of tomorrow, Mr. Durham has been on the job for two full years, with precious little to show for it – until recently with the spectacular revelation that Russian national Igor Danchenko was the major source for the infamous anti-Trump Steele dossier, a work of mostly fiction, which was used to bash President Trump for the entire 4 years of his presidency. The most surprising revelation that has come out of the Danchenko trial was that the FBI offered to give Christopher Steele $1 million to verify this report, but he couldn’t do that, leaving Danchenko to be exposed as having been working for the FBI for three and one-half years, taking in over $200,000 as a confidential source.
Today, Danchenko’s trial came to an end with a jury finding him not guilty on all 4 counts of lying to the FBI, and the MSM is now questioning whether Durham has come to the end of his mission without much to show for it.
This seems to be in line with Devin Nunes’ hint that perhaps Durham was not allowed by the current Attorney General to go after the bigger fish.

I’m still reporting from the citadel of world freedom. Good day.
