The same-sex marriage plebiscite is over and the YES side has come out the big winner.
This video isn’t about whether or not I agree with the decision of the nation, the people have spoken and despite the bullying of the side that won the result is legit.
The problem now is that those on the YES side are seemingly throwing out the promise to protect freedom of speech, conscience and religion.
It was a clear promise that if the YES side had won the freedoms of individuals to dissent would not come under threat.
Yet now it seems like the Left are preparing to backflip on this explicit promise and this is unacceptable.
Without clear protections for all individuals to speak freely and act on their own conscience, whether based on religious beliefs or not, the result of the gay marriage survey is illegitimate.
You cannot make an offer then change the conditions of that offer once it has been taken up, this is not only dishonest it’s extremely immoral.
Personally, I have no moral issue against gay people getting married, in fact I think the government should have no say in relationships at all.
There is no reason for marriage law at all as it does nothing to protect life, liberty and property.
Free speech is a far more important issue that whether or not Bill can marry his boyfriend Bob and if gay marriage is about “human rights” then it shouldn’t come at the expense of the rights of others.
We need to hold the elite to account for even daring to break this promise.

Mark Kenny is nothing but a far-left ideology, in my honestly held opinion, he needs to be ripped apart for his horrible article.
Fairfax are a known Left-Wing media organisation and are famous for this kind of garbage.
I also discuss a survey that appeared in The Australian newspaper that discusses a survey by the Coalition for ..
